"Enemies Among the Trees"

We hide, God seeks.
Man's Game? Quite bleak....
Played out as from the start.
Mankind still flees,
"Among the trees"...
While God pursues the heart.

Our Lying Pride !
God's Love? Denied !
The Bridegroom seeks His lover.
But we resist
And shake our fist
>From Darwin's "Natural" Cover.

The spell is cast....
Where first are last.
And Eden's Curse still holds.
Yet we insist
On Darwin's Twist.....
"Man! Weave your straw to gold!"

We've ducked behind
Sir Darwin's Blind.
Where God's Truth is negated.
He speaks. We scoff....
Then fend Him off.
"Evolve!
Man's Uncreated! "

And so, we trust
The Pixie Dust
Dreamed up in Darwin's Brain.
His Holey Grail's
Our Fairy Tale.....
Dread "Theo-Dragon" slain.

The Prince of Chance's
Magic Dance is
Truth for me and you....
As we insist
This Prince did kiss
The Frog of Lifeless Goo.

POOF ! Life appeared!
And mankind cheered....
>From motive "Peter Panic".
That "Darwin Stew's"
A Gnostic Brew.
A potion quite "shamanic".

Seems science took
The Captain's Hook....
>From worm, to fish, to MAN.
We took the bait.
That sealed our fate....
In Never-Never Land.

And so we're conned
By Magic's Wand
Of Lost Boys' Evo-Science;
A Trick that's now,
Our Sacred Cow
In Pastures of Defiance.

We chew the cud
Of "Lucky Mud"......
>From Grub to Glory,... Man!
And so we strive...
Connive. Contrive.
In "Science Wonderland".

Now God's extinct...
Our Missing Link
To Grace for Man's Betrayal.
So on we flee
Toward Alchemy:
Man chasing Darwin's Tale.

Our guilt is stark.
Our ways are dark....
Crouched down 'among the trees'.
Still Abba calls
And tears down walls....
He loves His enemies !

The Son shines bright,
Here in the night
Of Darwin's science-fiction.
He lights The Way
Into the day....
The Word:
God's Interdiction.
