Rottweiler Fundamentals

     Recently (January 2006) in the Belfast Telegraph, zoology Prof. Richard Dawkins was interviewed. The feature article ("Is Religion the Root of All Evil") begins with this provocative introduction:

     "Known as 'Darwin's Rottweiler', professor Richard Dawkins relishes controversy. In his new TV series he explains how religion is a form of abuse---and why God is man's most destructive invention."

    In the interview, Dr. Dawkins says that Charles Darwin '...demonstrated a beautiful, working process whereby natural forces, by gradual degrees and with no deliberate purpose forge an elegant illusion of design [emphasis added], to almost limitless levels of complexity."

     Dr. Dawkins ends the interview on a profound note by quoting Sixties Pop-philosopher, songwriter and Rock Star a-theologian, John Lennon...("Imagine").

                                       "You may say that I'm a dreamer,
                                            but I'm not the only one."

     Dawkins, who is a proud avowed atheist, once declared that "[humans]...are for nothing, ...[and ] are here to propagate ...selfish genes. There is no higher purpose to life...".

     As one contemplates Dr. Dawkins' relentlessly tenacious Crusade against God and those who question Macro-cadabra Evolutionism's Most Unlikely Magik Story, one is tempted to ask whether his calling in life has an ultimate purpose...and if it does (and by his own admission, it's not a "high" one)...to what may we attribute his fabled and frothing Rottweilerian zeal?

    If we take him at his word and acknowledge that he is, in fact, "a dreamer"... (an unintelligently designed dreamer at that)...ruled only by 'selfish genes' with no higher purpose in life, we would be very wise indeed to shine the light of truth and reason on his delusion and quietly oppose The Ultimate Nightmare he insists upon propagating.....

   Hear Rottweilers Snarl 'n' Growl...
Revelation's torn asunder,
   And God-fearers?
     Disemboweled.

   How to cleanse Genetic Pools.

Imagine! ...
   There's no Good or evil...,
   Just Indifference Supreme!
Just Imagine!....
   There's no Justice
     In this Dark Rottweiller Dream.

It's The Natural Progression!
    Mother Nature Shows The Way!
Red Tooth 'n' Claw Commandments...
    Good Rottweilers must obey!

Not to worry, though...
     Imagine!
Just how lovely it will be,
    When the Gene Pools'
        Finally scoured...
         And Rottweilers can be free!

Evolution is The Answer....
   (And Rottweilers prowl about.)

Disregard the blood that's dripping

    We must all begin again.

      The Sin....
          Our dread disease.

Lord, our hearts once born in darkness,

     The day You died....
Rottweiler Fundamentals....
    From your light, Lord,
       We can't hide.

When we pierced your hands
   And feet, Lord...
We just followed 'Nature's Way'...
Selfish Genes spoke much more clearly
    Than The Word you had to say.
